2007 A Computer Recycling Partnership  Benefitting Youth, Charity and the Environment. With your help, our goal is to recycle over 50,000 computer components and raise over $250,000 for Denver area charities, youth groups and non-profit organizations. PLEASE RECYCLE YOUR OLD COMPUTERS!!!!!!!!!! At our collection sites, we charge a fee of $10 per monitor, $5 per printer and $5 per CPU ($20 for an entire system) for performing this community service,  to pay the direct costs of computer recycling and to raise money money for local organizations. We will shred your hard disk for FREE to protect your personal data.  Watch your disk get shredded for an extra $5. Computers contain toxic materials.  When a computer quits operating, it becomes 'hazardous waste' under Colorado law.  To avoid polluting our water, Green Up Denver will arrange for computers to be recycled by Luminous Electronics Recycling. VOLUNTEERS WANTED! Youth groups are needed to help with recycling events.  Raise money for your organization. SPONSORS WANTED! We need your help! Many charities have received used computers in the past that now no longer work.  They do not have the money to pay the costs of recycling.  You can sponsor the recycling of these computers by making a cash donation.
